It’s all in a name.
Everything we do is intentional, including the name “Alinement” itself. We are breaking down the lines that hold us back - ideological lines, party lines, and historic redlining - to find new and innovative pathways to success. We don’t let the expectations of what we are “supposed to do” keep us from the creative problem solving that occurs when you think outside the box.
We are a New York-based advisory firm that coordinates housing policy efforts at the intersection of commerce and social change. Because responsibly expanding access to underrepresented people makes sense AND cents. Meaning, when you work to fix a system that has historically underserved or abused consumers because of what they look like or where they come from, you are not only choosing to be part of a solution to do the right thing and correct the wrongs of history, but you are also making wise business decisions by finding responsible and innovative ways to better serve these future clients of yours, and in turn help your clients also build wealth. Let’s face it though, all this change you seek won’t happen by doing what we have always been doing, on our own, in our own little circles. Which is where we come in:
With our 15 years experience leading change in government regulation, consumer protection, and public policy, in both the public and private sector; we are uniquely situated to help you aline your priorities with the policies and partnerships that make sense, so that you and your clients can make cents.
Plus, not only do we get it, we care. We focus on housing because at the end of the day, where you live matters: it matters to your education, public safety, climate, health, and wealth. We do this work because we believe in its ability to change the world, and Alinement is the bedrock of that change. We know that no matter how much we are capable of on our own, we need partners who are just as eager to make real change in order to actually make a difference, including partners like you.
